As I was going through vintage items over at Bluebell Bazaars's etsy shop the other day while on a mirror hunt, I noticed this (however it's unfortunately sold). Although we don't know any Oland's , of course we don't know any Oland's thanks to our anonymous reader (it's a Province in Sweden)....but nonetheless, its just such a beautiful wall decoration. you got it wrong, it isn't a family name.. it´s a province in Sweden. actually an island =) read more about it in wiki.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%96land
each province has its own crest

My family is from Gotland (another province in Sweden, and the other island one!) I would love to have one of these...so beautiful!
