Pink Inspiration
There's just something inspiring about this article in Country Home's magazine (Feburary '09 issue) that we had to include here. Pink is a color we never think of using in our living space, but we can see where it can work and does work (in certain doses) in this organizing article, styled by Mathew Mead and photographed by Colleen Duffley. Of course we love red and pink together, and the labels, oh the labels. Some of them can be ordered through Paper Source and Country Home has some they made up for the canisters (paint cans in the top pink cabinet) here. And we are working on a version of our own labels, that we hope to have up tomorrow as a free download. Click here to see their online version of this article.
As a side, I purchased this magazine online through coverleaf.com, an online magazine shop, where you can buy digital versions of magazines such as this one, and Readymade (as an example) for 99 cents!

How I love pink. I have been seeing it so much lately.
Beautiful pictures! xoxo.
This is so yummy. I love the labels and the red and pink combination. I'm moving into a new flat soon and am going to save this post as inspiration. Thanks! Old fashioned fonts on brown and white paper looks so quaint.
Oooh, what a pretty post. I especially love the clipboards. I'm finally getting to designing my office this year and will definitely be using that idea.
Love the idea behind digital versions of magazine. I own an eco-friendly company so I'd definitely consider it.

Thanks so much for the magazine link!
I love the online magazine concept. I just clicked over to their site...I wish their selection was a bit bigger...imagine if they had a section of foreign decor magazines...i'd be all over that.
So cute!
I love red & pink together too. And you're right - that pink storage hutch does work, despite the fact that pink wouldn't always be a first choice for furniture!
Thanks for the magazine tip! 99 cents & eco friendly - perfect!
I love your blog here. I am trying to start a design oriented blog myself. What kinds of things do you recommend for getting started?
