new brick & mortar: white elephant vintage
Congratulations to Jane and Holly of White Elephant Vintage who recently opened a brick & mortar located in an up and coming art district in Hamilton, Ontario (70 km southwest of Toronto). The area is full of little galleries and different artists and their street has a monthly "art crawl" where all the shops and galleries stay open late and put on different exhibits each month. White Elephant is planning to participate in these by curating different vintage collections each month. They also launched their own website and have moved away from Etsy. You can check that out at whiteelephantvintage.com.

I didn't know they opened a «real» shop. On Etsy, they always had great finds. Thanks for the info!
I love the way they displayed all those mini photos on the wall. Thats such an excellent idea!
Great website! Thanks for sharing. I agree with San Smith about the mini photos!
Ditto on the photos! I've been wanting to do something like that, but am unsure about what to use to stick them to the wall without ruining the photos...
Great vintage Pyrex.
Love the mini photos! Couldn't be better.
I would love to smuggle the typewriter home with me!
Thanks for posting us! We're flattered.
To all who were wondering about the photos - we used sticky tack and it didn't ruin the photos, but it didn't hold up long-term either. That was for last month's art crawl exhibit. We did a collection of old cameras and photos, and it went over well.
Thanks to everyone for the kind words!!!
