Welcome FilzFelt

I'm totally excited about this site! It seems my hunt for beautiful felt is over. FilzFelt is a collaboration and new business between Traci Roloff and Kelly Smith. They sell 100% wool felt imported from Germany, both raw material by the yard and as cut tabletop and flooring products. Along with their website they have set up shops at Etsy and Supermarket.

Cool! I didn't know that it's such a pain to get high quality felt in the US...
Yay, Germany!

You should also try http://www.thefeltpeople.com/. I've not actually ordered from them yet, but their color ranges look fabulous.

I've ordered some (in both 2mm and 3mm) and they're lovely! Thick and wonderful quality with deep rich colours.

Thanks for the link ... was hoping they would have some nice tie dyed felt....can't seem to find it anywhere yet I see things made out of it (and sold on Etsy) all of the time.

I used Filzfelt for some Christmas present projects I made this past year. Although it's pricey (I bought a yard to make the grocery bag design from Martha Stewarts website) I was able to make two bags and had plenty of scraps left over for other fun projects.

I also discovered my circle cutter works wonders with 2mm felt - I made trivets and key chains and added some graphic elements like a large heart and a bird motif. Fun!
