sweet little birthday calendar
I thought this was so sweet when I saw it. Local Vancouverite, Jeanette of The Beautiful Project has made this birthday calendar, inspired by the dutch calendars she'd see while visiting relatives there. The calendar isn't specifically a 2009 calendar....it's even better, since it lasts for years. Keep it in a spot where visitors will see when at your home with a pen handy so that they can add their own birthday! This calendar keeps for years and years and is complete with the Dutch spelling of the months and original illustrations on every page. Each 8-page calendar is priced at $20, printed on heavy 120 lb cover stock, and coil-bound. I also love the folk-inspired design.

my old roommate was Belgian and we too had one of these calendars in our house. It was in the bathroom, right in front of the toilet, so you were sure to never miss a birthday. I think there calendars are a lot of fun and this one is really adorable!
