pumpkin inspiration
Amazing pumpkin ideas coming out from the magazines. From top, Country Living Magazine shows how to score the skin with various motifs, while scooping the flesh from an opening cut in the bottom. Sunset Magazine suggests a no carve, no fuss approach (these are outtakes from their photo shoot from their blog, Sunset at Home and another stunning idea (maybe a bit more difficult) with gilding from Country Living.

Great pumpkin ideas! I have to admit: I really don't like carving pumpkins. Something about all that icky stuff inside. Ewwww .. Nice to know there are other options.
I think they look so much prettier un-carved! And they last longer too. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jessielehson/2919163645/
WOO! I can't wait to decorate for halloween/thanksgiving/fall. These pumpkin ideas are fantastic - and I will be employing as many as possible!
saw those last ones in CL : really cool for a more "grown up" Halloween!
Very Cool Idea and Designs!
That's awesome! I'm so excited for Halloween. Great post =D
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. I especially love that Thorny Vines pumpkin. Those Sunset mag pics are making me want to run home and do some fall decorating... just lovely.
Great ideas!
The flower one doesn't even look like a pumpkin at first. Love the gilded ones. :)
We are on the same page this week with the white pumpkins :)
Have a lovely day!
