Farewell Mixed Tape + Canadian Thanksgiving

thanks (Image: Gratitude Bag, Paloma’s Nest at palomasnest.etsy.com).

We’re gearing up for a few things this weekend. The Canadian Thanksgiving shows
up on Monday, as does our next market,“Indie Love”, in appreciation for all things
independent and handmade. October also marks the One Year Anniversary of Poppytalk Handmade!

And we’re feeling gratitude, not unlike any other day, but we are expressing our thanks especially this week, to you, our readers. We appreciate your visit each and every day, and we’re honoured you stop by. We’ve been doing this since the spring of ‘05 and are inspired each and every day by the beauty that surrounds us, . We are thrilled to know there are like-minded folks out there who join us in our journey to seek out the beautiful, the decayed and the handmade.

marketToday also marks the last day of the Mixed Tape market at Poppytalk Handmade. We had fun with this one, enjoying all the variety of handmade and vintage goods from around the world. Monday meets us with a new fresh market here and can hardly wait to share our list of vendors with you. We hope to see you then and have a fabulous Canadian Thanksgiving weekend!

Thank you so much for your mixed tape market: it was beautiful and inspiring.

I got a lot of shopping ideas now (bad for my bank account but well...).

hi poppytalk, i always love your blog...
but for new design for every picture with background, i am not really like it, i prefer the old style of picture without background, like ohjoy.blogs.com...

but, thats just my opinion...
the image became more clearly....

thanks,
always love your blog...

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving... God bless all of us, and you and this wonderful blog -- but not this small font which is killing my eyes! Ha!

PS
Don't be afraid to embrace your Canadianism!
