i loved her sink

bath

Home Design Director, Suzanne Dimma of Wish Magazine had her home featured in the October '08 issue and since I've always been a fan of her sense of style, I really enjoyed seeing it. She and her architect husband, Arriz Hassam have merged their diverse tastes into a mix that really works. And although there were lots of good things to see, I loved this little vignette in her bathroom (and the corner sink). The three way mirror is the topping on the cake. (Below), a close-up of what's on the ledge that surrounds the sink. (Photo's by Rob Fiocca).

Suzanne's work can also be seen on The Style Dept on HGTV.

Can a bathroom corner get any cuter? Yeah, let me just through in this ridiculously whimsical yet structured antique mirror that you've never seen before that makes the whole scene look effortlessly perfect.

sigh...envy.

I saw this too!
I thought it was really cute.
Did you notice she's moving on to be the editor in chief at House and Home? Wonder if Cobi is leaving - thats a big move I'd say!

I really love the "old world" feel that these rooms have. If only I could somehow get my ugly, florescent-lighted dorm room to look like that! haha, right...

i have a corner sink very similar to this in my old, oh so very old farm house. i love it, i adore the way it looks...but i can tell you one thing i hate, the inability to make warm water haha. (with two spouts its either ice cold or hot as hell...) i hope she's learned the tricks! oh and those little pins are amazing...

Oh my, my, my. I think I need this bathroom. The tri-fold mirror and artsy bits perched on the ledge...swoon...

I will have to go check that issue out! I also like Suzanne Dimma. I loved the Style Dept. episode when they made curtains out of vintage scarves and handkerchiefs.

p.s. I love having such a great blog with Canadian roots!

Wow, she and Cobi have such radically different styles in most cases... that will make for pretty much a whole new magazine eventually. If she can sort of filter through her design aesthetic though she could do some good things with H&H. She has great style. Wish is a much younger, energetic look than H&H, but this room actually surprises me so maybe she has what it will take to bring H&H out of the doldrums it has kind of fallen into. It could use some freshening up I think!

Late to the party, but wanted to say this is marvelous.

Love what you're doing here.

This is the cutest little sink that I have ever seen!

Since I am coming to this some time after it and the comments were posted and since I am a fan of H&H I would love to say that in my opinion Susan Dimma is doing a spectacular job.
