A teal story
A couple years back I used to loathe teal. It's still not one of my favorite colors and although I know it's a trend color, I'm for some reason not minding it here in this new scene from Anthroplogie's August catalogue. It seems to work well in this grouping of items, maybe it's the green that's balancing it. I love those hanging frames and that lamp (which oddly enough I can't find on their site - anyone)? Shown here: Wingback Peacock Settee, Calandria Chair (Mod Garden), Nelumbo Rug, Cloisters Greenhouse. Below: Good Luck Garden Dessert plates.

oh i love teal! esp this shade. :)
I love the green plates!! ..and I do agree with not usually liking teal..but..it looks pretty good here!
I LOVED these room shoots. They were such a great mix of colors. Anthro really has some talented stylists working for them.
As for the frames and lamp, I'll bet they're just props and not for sale. They also have great props. I dream of breaking into their prop warehouse one day!
I happen to love teal but that Anthropologie picture is just too, too much. Enough leaves! Enough patterns! Enough enough enough! Make it stop! My head hurts.
i dug those plates on the teal too
I have a love/hate relationship with teal. When it's done well - it's glorious. Most of the time though...ick.
I love anything teal/turquoise. It just makes me instantly happy. Love it here pictured with the green plates.
LOVE the teal! The contrast of colors would have me staring at the wall for hours! Great post!
