hits and misses
I was crushed when I found out I just missed out on these vintage trays from Pony Party (a new etsy shop I just discovered). Although it looks like there's still some good deals to be had including that orange striped double carafe. But what really has my eyes popping is that scoop chair she just listed on ebay. Apparantly hard to find in this condition (I've never seen one before). It's made by Carter Bros., in the 1950's. More about the scoop chair here. Now if only I could find her ebay shop.

Check it out here. Thanks for the mention!
OMG I looove that chair!! and those retro lamps=awesome!
Those chairs are everywhere in Seattle and for fairly cheap - I've seen them in various colors too. The scoop chair was a mass produced chair sold at places like Sears so they should be easy to find.
I wish we had seen some in Seattle when we lived there. We picked this one up in Missouri recently and didn't know much about it until someone on flickr pointed us to the previously linked blog with the Scoop Chair history. Apparently, a set sold on eBay for $3,000.00.
Needless to say, I hate to sell it. Its my favorite mid-century find, even if it used to be a commercial piece.
I've already taken this beautiful chair off racheldenbow's hands, but if anyone is interested, I found this one on ebay as well. It's in need of some love, but for $10, it may be worth the TLC:
