Where in your home/apartment/city is your studio located?

My backyard studio is a shared space with my husband Brady who is a painter/mixed media artist. We recently converted the 1920's bungalow garage for a dark little hole into an amazing place to spend the workday.

What equipment/tools do you use?

My flush-cutting pliers would probably win the award for most popular part of my production process. In close second is my very old FOREDOM flexshaft drill.

Do you have an inspiration board, and can you tell us what is inspiring you now?

My inspiration board is up but tends to be more of a family picture/children's art board at the moment. Mostly my inspiration comes from nature...Currently I am spending a lot of time watching the family of doves nesting in my yard.

How do you create best (e.g. do you listen to music while you create and if so what?)

I create best in the morning, barefoot with hot coffee and my itunes...I love love love Mr. Tom Waits, Feist, Sea Wolf, Luis Armstrong, Adele, Bosa Nova and almost anything Brazilian. My husband is the music master...

List (3) of your favorite artists

Brady Redman(site under construction)
Robert Parkeharrison
Lee Bontecou (no website but you can see her work in google images)

If yours isn't, what would be your perfect studio?

I think I've got it--just add a bit more space, I'd like a thinking couch.
