most influential designs of 2007 {part one}

going through my 2007 archives, i picked out some designs that really popped out at me, as the most influential over the past year. what comes to mind mostly looking back, the influence of craft and art, collections of favorite things, tactile surfaces and hand-lettering to start.

The wooly sea gems by helle jorgensen have to be the most intriguing items, for me, that you have listed here. When you first posted them I found myself going back to them time and time again . They are so truly unique and yet completely obscure - I still find them fascinating, the whole collection is very impressive.
