retro psychedelic motifs of morocco
i loved this mix of retro psychedelic 60's moroccan motif's that was featured in marie claire maison this month. retro arabic signage and paint cans incorporated into furniture, mixed with pattern after pattern. somehow it all works and is just nice visually for a change and point of view.

I love all things Moroccan, thanks for sharing!
your blog is great! Thanks for sharing all this stuff!
This is such a lovely, eclectic combination. So far, I hadn't imagined combining Moroccan style with retro motifs, but yes, it's very well possible and works out so nice!
Hey, wow! I saw exactly those paint can things at a cute chain of resteraunts (called Leon) I ate at when I was in London this summer.
Here's a picture I took (on my boyfriends flickr stream)

I thought they were such a great idea. Just some cheap old buckets (you can get them from grocery stores too - sometimes things like bulk olives and sundried tomatoes come in them) and a scrap of vintage fabric screwed onto the lid. So clever!
I happened across your blog from blogger, and wow what a lot of cool visual stuff. Just really neat all the color and design you've got going on.
