flock prints + thelermonthupton cups
these flock prints from small stump are so awesome! the original design for these birds in flight silhouettes was created for a show at a rose and radish design gallery in san francisco. the installation called "flocked" featured a large cluster of the bird prints on various types of papers which were free to curl and move with the breeze. "flocked" was sold, but now there is mini flock! this set of 11 hand-silkscreened prints includes four different bird silhouettes (in four different colors) on assorted papers (trace, vellum, bright white marker paper, cream arches, brown chipboard, white bristol).
speaking of rose and radish, i'm loving these thelermonthupton everyday cups they have in their online store. described as "a cup with two faces", one side for your mates and the "best china" for your mum, (cups with a split personality). designed by davide hupton and yve thelermont.
