tanks + doilies in japan
i know a lot of readers that come here also visit lisa solomon's work and follow her flickr stream, but if you don't, a visit to her pictures of her installation she did in japan this past month she recently posted is a definite recommendation. most amazing this wall of felt tanks in an argyle pattern and the shadows off the glass where she applied her doilies.

I'm a huge fan of her work - so talented!
I love the tank paper, the color shapes and pattern make you want it in your room even if the actual image is a bit disturbing. I would love it printed on a table...
