one in ten auction - sunday august 19th!

eireann of ohbara along with many artists from the making community are holding an auction this sunday, called one in ten for eireann's mother who suffered a brain aneurysm this past june. although told by doctors that only one in ten survive this her mom has astounded her doctors and therapists with her strength and progress. a friend suggested an auction of handmade things to help cover her mom's medical bills and the auction will now take place this sunday. here's a link to the online sale detailing all the pieces up for auction as well as times, etc. (a couple of the pieces up for bid shown here: (above) stitched embroidery on paint chip - mixed media by lisa solomon and a pillow (below) by uniform studio).
