pure modern
i wish i could get a bigger image of this ecosphere in it's entirety because i'm sure it's amazing. enclosed in glass, this miniature ecosystem is self sustaining with the perfect balance of animal and plant life. inside each sphere are algae, shrimp, and micro-organism in natural sea water. they have a life expectancy of 2+ years and require no feeding or cleaning. from pure modern.

NO WAY
I used to have one of these! I inherited it from someone who inherited it from someone else. There was only one little shrimp left when I got it, but dang! He lived a looong time, at least two years alone in my posession... I always wondered if the whole thing died because the balance got off in there, or if the little shrimplet would have died by then anyway... The world will never know.
i want one!
