(above): a mudroom interior from the 2007 hamptons cottages and gardens idea house designed by brad ford and bug bedecked wallpaper by jennifer angus using real preserved insects.
a mud beaded chandelier. the beads are hand-rolled by the women of the menwana beads and buttons community project in clocolan, south africa who are supported through amaridianusa.com. the beads are then fired, strung and turned into a fixture by philippa and werner du toit of mud ceramics in a nearby town of ladybrand.
