thank you!

a "huge" thank you to everyone who participated in the poppy survey! there was amazing feedback and the response was better than i expected. since you participated, i thought i'd share the results with you that would be of interest, so here's what you had to say:

57% of you are from the united states, followed by 23% canadian, 12% europe 3% australia/asia, 5% other (south africa, mexico, israel, new zealand)

a whopping 97% of you are female!

12% are between 20-25, 31% are aged 25-30, 40.5% are between 30 and 40, 10% are 40-50, and 5% between 50-70 (so cool!)

almost 65% of you visit for inspiration to design and 60% of you enjoy the "new artists' posts, with a close second visiting for products for the home, followed by handmade goods, then papergoods and graphic design elements.

thank you also for all your suggestions and kind words! i have subsequently turned off the "snap widget" as some of you were finding it an interruption, and i'm working on getting my rss feed to show images. i think i got it working with some, but i'm still working with bloglines. so if you have bloglines, keep checking back, i'm trying to figure that one out.

from comments made, many of you that visit like the way the blog is, so there isn't going to be alot of change here, perhaps your response has just given me more confidence to remain the same. so thank you for solidifying that. not saying that things won't change as design is a funny thing, and ever-changing, but thanks for taking the ride with me. i started this blog to keep a pulse on what was happening out there, so i wouldn't grow stale in my growth with respect to design, and it's cool to know there are like-minded people out there to share that with.

so once again, thank you, you have been really helpful with my focus here and where i should go forward. i really appreciated your participation and response! have a great weekend!

Yay! I really like your blog a lot. I'm moving to Vancouver in August, so it's nice to get some west coast inspiration before I move from Alberta!

I can see your pictures on Bloglines now, so I don't think you will have to work any more on that. :-)

I was able to participate in your survey and I would not change anything about Poppy. I really enjoy your blog and have been shopping with some of your recommendations as well. Love that I can find things in both Canada and the US. Thanks.
