patio dreaming
love this patio of this 50's eichler designed home (above) in palo alto, ca. looking for patio inspiration, i picked up the april issue of sunset magazine at the library this weekend. i love the idea of a low table like that. it brings a fun casual feel along with the airiness of the chairs.
i also love the wicker chairs in the above photo. reminds me of ones everyone had in their basement growing up, with those orange corduroy buttoned covers.

I'm all about patio furniture these days-- since I now have a small (but very lovely) patio! can't seem to afford what I want (what else is new?) and you've definitely got me oohing and aahing and wishing here...!
Love the retro feel in both of these pictures, very cool!
