if this doesn't scream canadian, what does? for those who don't know what i'm talking about. the classic hudson's bay company's point blanket, a well known canadian symbol, covers an ottoman. perfect for the ski cabin or if you're living abroad and long for some canadiana. upholstered in 100% wool. $695 CDN.

That is almost cool (I grew up thinking the Bay blanket was tacky). Now it's coming back in furniture too. Wierd. This is much better than that chair in your link.

sorry it's just i'm canadian and when i was younger everyone's parents and grandparent's had bay blankets and ponchos and things...and back then as kids we all thought it was cheap and gross. i do like the ottoman tho'. should get it for my mom - she has been working at a Bay store for years, then she'll be reminded of work when she's home...bet she'd LOVE that ;)
I love the Hudson Bay blankets. I heard they were pricey, but wow!
