sooooo adorable! i just got a tip on this lovely shop, mahar dry goods out of santa monica, california.
and then finding these was just the topping on the cake. these fantastic baby booties are made by heather's treasure box, and are made to order. size 0 to 6 mos. $24.
all the items at mahar drygoods are created in the homes and studios of artists, designers and crafters who are thrilled to be sharing their talents. based on a 1930s children’s book cover design, the site features illustrations by rhode island artist, jen corace.

omg, those crocheted baby cowboy boots are reason enough to have another baby! (okay, well maybe not but you know what I mean).
I love the work of Jen Corace. Her art has such a charming, nostalgic quality to it without being sentimental. There's often an unexpected element in her work that's at odds with the rest of the image, and that makes me think.
