a canadian company called
felt has been producing these beautiful versatile felt products for the home as well as fashion. i would just love to get my hand on some of this felt, i wish they sold it. but saw these bags on the weekend and they are absolutely ten times more gorgeous in person. beautiful colors, and love the idea of recycled fibres included in the mix. the bowls or nests as they are called are also an excellent desk accessory. they can be ordered online
here.

Wow! Thanks for the link:-)
absolutely fabulous!
I've never seen felt like this... gorgeous but very seemingly sturdy. cool.
very nice. the newest issue of Readymade Magazine has instructions for making a really cool wood carrier using an old pair of jeans, it looks a lot like the felt one, only denim of course.
Oh I love felted products too, they are amazing
I've read your posts on your mission to find thick felt. I feel your pain because I've been looking for the same thing! Where does this felt come from and how does one get it?? I know you found something (the Narnia post) but it's not quite what you were looking for. I've been to the LA International Textile Show twice looking for some and both times I came up empty. There was only one booth I could find that sold felt and it was of the thin variety. I asked the vendor for something thicker and he looked at me as if I were crazy. Let's join forces on this mission!
Have you seen Pia Wallen's work with felt?
