took these pictures from a friend's copy of family circle easy crochet - fall/winter 2005. the colors are a bit off but this tea cozy makes me want to become a tea tottler. i don't have a clue how to crochet - but i think i'm going to have to learn. and i kind of like the idea of felting afterwards - it's like shrinking on purpose. sort of fun by accidental purpose.

Thanks so much for the link to Johnny Cheuk. I'll have to revise my prior statement about gradients, so they are only horrid 90% of the time ;)
really beautiful examples of gradient work.
I don't know how to crochet either. or knit. or sew. always wanted to learn but I don't think I can take on one more thing...!
