new year hobby
nothing like a little "pick-me-up" from good old fred flare to beat the january blahs. and what a good time to start a new hobby or revisit an old one. like this silkscreen workshop kit, by toronto's peach berserk who shows not only how to master silkscreening but also how to start a creative business on a budget.
or this how-to knit some softies, by jess hutch. i'm especially liking that square one and it doesn't look too hard for someone who can only knit/pearl squares or rectangles. the legs might be a little challenging, but then, what does it matter if it doesn't work? (my new motto for the new year).
or perhaps just take time to curl up and read a book, with these handy little bookmarks by bob's your uncle.
love fred.
