if you get a chance you have to read this essay, here, there and nowhere about a remote mining town in northern b.c. that has been abandoned 25 years or so ago, with so much still in place. books in the library, still stacked and sorted; card catalogues may still be browsed; curling rocks waiting for the next game...
how i'd love to see this place in person. nice shots were taken, however not all online, so i tried to capture a few with my camera (still no scanner happening).
