embroidery love
i'm on a bit of an embroidery kick here, and found this beautiful piece here (shown above) by jenny hart out of austin, texas. also some elizabethan patterns to download at blackwood archives. some beautiful japanese pieces here (just click on the gallery). the embroiderer's guild and the beautiful textile collage typography embroidered work of natasha kerr out of the u.k (see below).

this textile collage is beautiful! I went to the site and really enjoyed looking at all her work, especially loving the use of old photos (of course)...
