target=\"_blank\"\u003EFlower Factory\u003C\/a\u003E, and on the same visit, Gloria made some adorable mini bouquets that we thought would make a sweet garland for the holiday season.\u0026nbsp; She gathered a collection of eucalyptus, cotton, a bit of cedar and pinecones.\u0026nbsp; We tied them together with some pink velvet ribbon we picked up at our local fabric store and tied them to some twine.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Ca name='more'\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EWe love the result and they look perfect on our piano and would also be nice above a fireplace or sofa.\u0026nbsp; These were pretty easy to make and since they are made with cotton and eucalpytus they will last a really long time.\u0026nbsp; If you live in the This creates a more fuller effect. Do this until you have filled up the desired space around the wreath. Using a special wooden stem with wire, and once wrapped, wind with florist tape to look like a real stem. Repeat until desired amount of cotton stems are created. Place into the wreath, securing by winding the wire around a piece of one of the vines. Gloria used preserved roses for this project, which are real roses that have been preserved and will not wilt, so no water vials are needed.\u0026nbsp; They are about twice the amount of a regular rose, but so amazing right? If you wanted to go with a fresh flower, Gloria says you can get special water vials (available at the Flower Factory) that are thinner that work well for being able to fit in between the wreath vines. The fresh flowers will last approximately 3 days in the vials. It's a familiar little motto that actually really proves itself out as we all try to take better pictures. So when GE Lighting asked us to try out their new reveal® Bulbs, which offers exceptionally clean, bright light to make colours pop, we had to give them a try.\u0026nbsp; Ends up, we really liked the natural light they threw and how more details emerged. And since  we are always crafting and cooking here on the blog and taking photos of  our creations, light is pretty important. So we took a few photos with the new bulbs (along with some natural light) and created some autumn tablescape ideas.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: large;\"\u003E\u003Cb\u003ETablescape No. 1 \u003C\/b\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EWe ran into some pretty pumpkins this week and thought they would make great centrepieces for an autumn dinner party, or if you live in the U.S., maybe some inspiration for Thanksgiving. This is a super easy set up but has a lot of impact.\u0026nbsp; For this first tablescape we mixed some really great pumpkin colours.\u0026nbsp; A little bit of tangerine, blush and orange, along with a few beautiful fallen leafed branches. Set aside but close by once you start melting the candies.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIn  a saucepan, melt the hard candies over medium heat being careful not to  burn them. These melt fast, so keep an eye on it and once it starts to  bubble, and all the candies are melted, it is time for apple dipping.\u0026nbsp;  Keeping the candies bubbling, dip each apple (very quickly as it cools  quickly), covering almost to the stem and then set on parchment paper to  cool.
