We're kicking off the week with a sneak peek from Inside Out Magazine's March issue out this Thursday.  Matilda Duffecy, Social and Senior Editor explains:

"Our March issue is jam-packed full of inspiration and ideas for your home. There's a big focus on mastering the kitchen space, so entertaining is breezy and fun for the guests and host, too!

I've included one of our best buys – mood lights. Our market editor Joseph Gardner has pulled together such a "bright" array of pieces that it's hard to choose just one. Craig Wall was the photographer on that shoot.

Hard hats may be required when entering the super-cute kid's room dreamed up by stylist Vanessa Colyer Tay. Busy little bodies will love the various work zones for building up their block skyscrapers and you can be sure there's plenty of space for the demolition party. Photographer, Sam McAdam-Cooper, captured the space beautifully.

Looking to the fabric world, our March issue not only pulls in the latest design-savvy textiles of the moment, but we've also included all the facts you need to know before choosing your fibres. We discuss the pros and cons of a variety of textiles and included expert advice on how to buy fabric. Imogene Roache styled the shoot and Sam McAdam-Cooper photographed it.

The homes in this issue are pretty spectacular, and I've included a peek into one of them. Veterans of the film and TV industry, Lesley Crawford and Dennis Smith have brought a warehouse to life. The pair's keen eye for design and upcycling is clear in the characterful styling of their home. That "chandelier" above the dining table was created by Dennis after finding no pieces in second-hand shops to suit the space. And doesn't wouldn't you love to check out that wardrobe? Jane Frosh styled this story while Harold David photographed it.

This month's food feature is a fresh take on afternoon tea and, don't worry, the chicken finger sandwich was left in all its original glory – you really can't top that classic. Delightful strawberry sponge cakes, scones and another two cakes are on offer. Don't forget the fresh pot of tea! This feature was styled by Danielle Selig, with food styling by Bernadette Smithies and photography by Jeremy Simons.

And then there's that cover. The Edwardian home is so beautiful and offers advice aplenty on ways to tailor a home to family life. It's the stuff of serious home envy!It was styled by Megan morton with photography by Annabelle Hickson. "

Thank you Matilda! The March issue of Inside Out Magazine is out this Thursday (Feb. 25/16)  and is available at newsagents or digitally via Zinio, Google Play, iTunes & Nook.
