Well, I have to agree that the cake takes the cake, but I was THRILLED to see my backyard on your website this morning. As I said in my comment yesterday, thank you for the fun week. I'm definately a fan of the cake as well - lovely! While we're on the subject of purples & lavenders I just want to mention a book I'm in the middle of reading. It's great! It's "Mauve" by Simon Garfield and it's a biography of the chemist to discover the first Aniline dye (William Perkins and he discovered Mauve)! It's fascinating to hear about the dye industry in the 1850's and it's such a good story as well.
Beautiful! That cake will haunt my dreams forever...
